We hired Margo Villandry, designer, at the Weekender House to help us purchase furniture for a condo that we newly owned. We had recently bought hand-knotted rugs when traveling to India and our current furniture did not “fit the look and space” in the condo. Margo was brilliant in her ideas, very different than what we would have done without her. Light colored fabric on the sofa and modest sized chairs, a glass coffee table to highlight the gorgeous rugs, and a traditional oval dining room table. She also suggested purchasing a big piece of art to highlight a wall in the dining area where I would have put the wood hutch. We love the look and feel of the furniture that she suggested and found for us. Very professional, knowledgeable, and within budget and on time purchasing. Thank you Weekender House!
I found Weekender House after reading online reviews. We were moving cross-country and needed to furnish an entire condo. Based on a few long-distance calls and some Houzz photos I’d sent them of styles I liked, Chad and Jen were able to discern exactly what I was looking for. At our first design meeting, they had many samples and ideas for each room at various price points, but I found myself going with their first offerings every time. They had clearly listened to what I liked yet offered a fresh perspective and fun new ideas I couldn’t have thought of on my own. I worked mainly with Jen, but this shop has a team of designers who collaborate. Someone is always there to help. Delivery went smoothly, and the furniture, rugs, lamps, etc. are high-quality, the prettiest I’ve ever owned.
I wanted to update the look and feel of the decor for a condo renovation in Florida. So, we reached out to the Weekender House for help with new furniture and interior design, and they did a fantastic job turning our vision into reality. They were great listeners, really worked within our budget and brought forward many options to select from. They even coordinated the delivery of items even though we were remote. I highly recommend working with the Weekender House!

My experience working with Chad has been excellent. The large showroom with many arrangements gives lots of choices and the large viewing screen enables you to see furniture placed in your exact space. I am most grateful that he was able to give honest feedback about a table I was thinking of purchasing. I stopped by the store to show him pictures of a dining room table that I found and to ask his thoughts on how that would look with the existing furniture I had purchased from Weekender House. In his kind and gentle manner he suggested that we take a look at what I had and what we were trying to achieve. After spending one and a half hours of unscheduled time it was clear the unique table would be a distraction. With Chad’s help I was able to find the perfect dining table that looked great with the 10 chairs I was hoping to order. Chad and his staff are very professional, timely when they make house calls and knowledgeable about the products they carry. The installation and delivery team arrives on time and completes the job quickly. I highly recommend Chad and his team. They are talented decorators who are also ethical and kind and a respected team in the seacoast.
I highly recommend Chad, Margo and the entire staff at The Weekender. I have worked with them on two projects. In both cases they provided me with a perspective that pushed my comfort level in a great way. Chad suggested wall and trim colors I would never have thought of. They look incredible! The furniture they recommended are well made and very comfortable. I plan to go back to the store frequently as they regularly change the items on display.
